ValueGolf I don't think so. I passed along your endorsement. He likes Ping.

Thanks, Aaron.

Toulon

He can have everything for $75 shipped. It has a brand new adapter. I can get pics tomorrow.

LBlack14 Will pass along to him. Thanks,LB. He has Ping irons and loves the look of the Gmax. He might be swayed by the 379 tag on the Ping but Im not sure.

Not to be a dick, but pick the one he likes the looks of the most, it will inspire the most confidence and that’s the only thing that matters. Shooting 100, the tech isn’t going to save you and the 2% between all the best stuff sure as hell doesn’t matter, pick the one that looks the best and go play. Having the confidence the shot will work will help the swing more than the driver will help correct anything.

It would sound like he is set on Ping. G30's can be found pretty cheap on ebay.

That thing is a "pressure cooker" explosion waiting to happen
      😉

Wasn't the 525 the one Steve Almo played and he claimed it was the longest of all the drivers he ever played, Bang and Geek exclusively?

DC300 Man, if this is being a dick, I'm going straight to Hell for being a major one. This is a message that more people need to hear and I talk about it quite freely.

@kelco9 [DC300]Man, if this is being a dick,

It is not 'dicky" at all.
Function over form is the usual mantra but form counts almost as much.
It's when form overwhelms function that the performance decline becomes an issue.
        I hope that made sense
        LOL

Spuzz I absolutely agree. Function should always take precedence over form, IMO, but if you can find the form that you like without affecting function, that's certainly the best option.

Damn! I thought this was supposed to be a golf forum, not some sort of commentary on the ills of American society! Style over substance is the name of the game these days. But, as was duly noted earlier, liking the look of a golf club inspires some confidence. Now, as far as the workplace, values, and ethics that's a whole other matter.

Rickochet I've been in their retail store. Picked up a set of Cobra irons there that I wish I hadn't gotten rid of they were perfect. MB/CB combo set.

Cobra Max offset. I think they are still around as NOS for $109.

LBlack14 I've had 2 of them sitting here laughing at me since before Christmas! The bastages will have hell beat outta them as soon as the weather allows; by me and Jake.
