I have enjoyed almost every Marvel movie up to this point. Iron Man 1, CA: Winter Soldier, and Avengers 1 are my favorites, but I liked all of them enough to not feel like I wasted my time watching.
I will maybe see Captain Marvel, and I'll definitely see Infinity War, and them I'm done. I didn't see Ant Man 2 - probably should, as it would be the only one I didn't see.
It's just too much. I'm burned out. And inconsistencies in the heroes relative abilities is starting to be annoying.
For example, In Iron Man 1, IM takes a tank shell to the face, falls out of the sky, and gets up none the worse for wear (besides a burn mark on his helmet face.)
In CA: Civil War, Captain America has great success just punching IM in the face. More damaging to IM than a tank shell?? Where was this power in every fight CA had with a non-super-hero? In the elevator fight in CA: Winter Soldier he had to punch regular guys multiple times to down them. Whaaa?
All in all, they're consistently enjoyable high-quality productions that I've had about enough of. I won't mind a 3hr "finale" for my investment in these heroes as we know them.
