I don't think that means much. Going against icons is very difficult. Ask Penn State players about Joe Pa.
In a sports context, I have no issue with the yelling unless he's shouting hate speech or dehumanizing language.
Now, did he touch him as he came off the court? Looks close and player grabbed his hand. He lunged at him on the bench and that was the worst part of it. Would he have physically contacted him? He didn't so it's moot.
Accountability is a great thing. Sit the kid and put someone else in the game and explain why you're doing it would've worked just as well, if not better.
Do we know why he went off like that? I haven't read all that much about it.
EDIT: I read Izzo commented it was about his effort. He went nuts after a 10-0 run. The kid obviously wasn't up to his standards. I also read he did, in fact, touch his stomach as he came off the court. That's out of bounds. You don't touch your player in a fit of rage. To me, that's too far.
