accufitgolf As I aged , my scores increased. By late 60's no longer breaking 80. Scores were hovering in mid 80's and climbing. Now scores hovering in the law 90's and occasionally breaking 90.
Sorry, but this really doesn't make all that much sense to me. At 67, I'm shooting lower scores now than I ever did(well, at 66, last season). Only 2 reasons I KNOW of: #1- I did move up to the(so-called) Sr. tees, even though I will play the whites from time to time to a similar score as the Srs.. #2- Even though I may have lost a lot of distance from every club, I do know which club will still give me a certain yardage. If I have to hit my 6i to go 120 yds., then bigawd, I'll use it! Is a 500 yd. hole too long?....not if I use my '150' club 3 times and a good wedge shot; par, or bogey should be the worst. I do find shots going much straighter now than ever before, so no OBs, trees, etc. all that much now.
I don't think age has a lot to do with scoring. jmo
