It just comes down to personal preference. I'm not relying on my iPhone to answer all of life's problems. I just want a decent camera, something that can stream my music seamlessly when I want it, don't have to charge the battery every three hours, and good reception qualities within my network when I need to call someone (which is more dependent on the mobile carrier as it is the cellphone itself).
I send email on my iPhone... I listen to various sports podcasts. My reception is fairly good. I download a few apps. I read books from my iTunes library.
I've found no reason to change. My experience has been super. And I'm sure that the same could be said of loyal Android users, Samsung, etc. I just don't get the outrage for Apple iPhones.
They're the top selling mobile phone in the world. Perhaps due to brand recognition, but Apple's stock price ain't exactly tanking. But listening to some of the criticisms here - one would think that it's garbage and anyone with more than 50 shares of stock should be selling it asap.
It ain't garbage.
It just comes down to personal preference. If you had a bad experience with a certain car - you're not gonna go back and buy another one. I've had great experiences with Apple, and have no need to consider another brand.
Different strokes for different folks. 🙂
