Played yesterday using the Golf Boards. It was fun and different. The boards obviously take some time getting used to and even after 18 holes on it, I would still start on low speed the next time I use one. It handled the hills of the course just fine and only once did I really lose control and had to step off. Other than that, I did fine.
I did notice that they seem to be more stable once you get moving to full speed and also using one hand on the "bar" as it almost seemed to be over-constrained using both hands and harder to control. But starting from a stop especially on any angled areas, I always started with both hands on there for control.
My buddy rode his into a bunker once and we each scrubbed the tires on curbs (think about being on a bike when you are a kid and you get too close to going off the curb but yet you cannot get away from it since you are looking at it).
I would do it again. Too bad it is an extra $25 above the normal cost. That is prohibitive in my mind, so I won't do it very often.
