garyt1957 I think his point is, you still have to install the shaft in an adapter which is the same as installing it in a head, so is it really any easier? Then he admits that of course once you do that it's easier to switch shafts again, but the first time,it's no different.
I agree. Also, lack of compatibility between adapters limits the advantages of switching shafts. After trying 4-5 shafts in an adjustable head I decided I liked 2 of them best so I no longer had any use for the extra 3 adapters. If I wanted to try those shafts in something else, I would still have to pull the adapters. A universal adapter would make me like adjustable drivers a lot more! 🙂
