I don't disagree, but the same has been said about any number of companies, including Walmart, regarding employee dissatisfaction.
The only counter to this is spending more money and purchasing everything from local mom and pop stores, which often times don't have the logistics or the means to carry everything one might be looking for, with 7-10 day turnaround on delivery or shipping.
As a consumer, I'm happy to have an option. If I were an employee - I might have a lesser opinion.
But as a consumer, I think the shipping aspect is the biggest difference. If I can order something, pay the same (or sometimes less) than what I might pay for it at Target or Walmart, and have it delivered to my doorstep within 48 hours - that has basically saved 3 hours of my day. They could charge me more and I would probably still opt for the service, simply because I'm not squelching on 5 bucks difference in pricing over the convenience factor.
