I don't buy much from Amazon, but when I do - I've always been pleased with the purchase and timely delivery.
About 6 weeks ago we had our kitchen redone... new countertops, new backsplash, new tile floor, new sink and faucet, new dishwasher, etc. Came across these on Amazon and decided to give them a try.
They're rechargeable lithium, only takes a couple hours to charge them. For those, like myself, who aren't skilled enough to deal with electricity, run wires, etc. without worrying about drilling holes and getting electrocuted - these are a nice option, to give the kitchen a little added pizzazz.
They come in packs of 2, with double-adhesive stickers to mount on the surface of whatever you're wanting to mount to. You simply peel the stickers, press against the surface for a few seconds, and then press the magnetic strip against it. They're very sticky and work great. Then, the bottom base of the LED light stick is magnetic, and clings to the magnetic strip.
I've had these over a month and I've only charged them once.
This is what it looks like, unlit.
This is what it looks light, fully lit.
Magnetic stick adhered to the double-sided sticky tape underneath the wall cabinetry. Didn't break out the tape measure to do it, just tried to keep it somewhere straightish.
The lighting at night when they flick on (motion-sensor enabled if they detect movement, and are very sensitive).
The LED light stick charging, comes with a USB cable, but will need a USB-equipped electrical adapter, or can also be charged through your home PC's USB ports. Only takes a couple hours, and is usually good for once-per-month if set to the motion-sensor setting.
I've got a ginormous walk-in closet upstairs in the Master Bedroom that, for whatever reason, the original owner didn't see fit to put a light in. And the bedroom lighting 20 feet away doesn't help whatsoever. So I'll be ordering two more for the closet upstairs.
Very pleased with these. They've worked great thus far, after almost two months. If you're like me and looking for an indoor lighting solution to a dimly-lit closet, or want to add these underneath your kitchen wall cabinets to accentuate - they're worth looking into. Each stick has three settings: On (full-time), Off (full-time) or Motion-Sensor. I've kept mine on the motion sensor setting the entire time and like I said - the charge lasts for almost a month.
Feel free to add your new Amazon finds here in this thread as well, because sometimes we're all interested in the same shit. lol
