I think that if both teams play to their ability - it'll be a close game. I also think that the tendency in this particular matchup is to overlook the aggressive nature of the Philly defense. Fletcher Cox, if he shows up and game-ready, will make Brady's life miserable.
This is by no means an automatic win for Belichick and Brady. The game (imo) will be won or lost in the trenches and special teams execution.
Either way - it's all gravy, baby! The Eagles are poised to be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years. Whether it happens on Sunday that they burst their SB cherry remains to be seen. But I'm not exactly feeling bad about our chances Sunday. Or the coming few seasons for that matter.
The Birds are the underdog. All of the pressure is on NE. AND... if they win - oh well. Congrats to them. We're not expected to win.
Knowledgeable fans, however, don't discount the team that has absolutely nothing to lose, and play like they have nothing to lose.
May the better team win Sunday. And may the Birds play like they have absolutely nothing to lose, just as they have the past two games. 😉
