Honestly, 14 clubs is an arbitrary number anyway, you would feel so much better if the clubs didn’t say 6,7,8,9 etc on them. If you really think about it, that’s a dumbass system anyway. Why do I hit the highest number with the shortest shaft for the shortest shot? I guess if you are corelate it to loft is arguable, but it still makes little sense. Ok, rant off.
I have learned one club you are comfortable with is so much better than 3 that I’m less sure of, so if you aren’t seeing it, screw it, they stay in the garage. I have had a bunch of different configurations over the years, but used to feel obligated to carry 3-pw, because I PAID for a full set. Well that’s over, I threw the 3 out, then the 4 and the 5 has been on thin ice for years, then I slapped a Pinhawk 5 in the bag and it’s there to stay. I have to be honest about what I actually hit and if I don’t touch it because it scares me or there is a better option, it’s a goner at this point. Moral of all this ramble is, hit what works.
