After a bad shot
It has happened to all of us. A rotten shot, right into a lake or bunker. But the last thing anyone wants to see is a temper tantrum, hear a litany of profanity, or find themselves in the path of a hastily thrown club. Act like an adult, and take the bad shot in stride. The best thing one can do is take your next shot and make up for your first mistake.
People will treat you with the respect you deserve, so work to earn that respect. Furthermore, many times people will measure your personality and disposition through your actions. Business relationships can be made or broken on a golf course. Make sure your reactions to a bad shot do not harm your chances off the course as well.
