Amazing course, nightmare of a challange but more than worth it.

Tough longer course. Lots of challenging long grass. Great opportunities for birdies if you can hit the skinnier fairways. Decent amount of water and a great 19th hole overlooking the course. Has a practice green and driving range.

I played this course in the afternoon after playing the private Ozaukee Country Club, it's truly an amazing public course. It is a long course with a number of holes that dare you to drive past water hazards and bunkers (I fell victim more than a few times). It is by far my favorite public course in Wisconsin and was definitely a great value after the 2 o'clock discount even on the weekend.

Average par three, great for beginners and those looking to take their time and work on their short game in a course close to downtown Milwaukee.

The greens were quicker than most of the other Milwaukee courses. Whitnall was much more challenging (and longer) than greenfield or Grant, better cared for and had slightly better facilities. Overall a great public course at a good price if you get in after the 2 o'clock price decrease.

This course is quite slow but still a bit of a challange with a number of longer par threes (some 200+ yards). Great environment, even saw a fawn run through one of the fairways. The pace was pretty typical for public courses although it could have been a bit faster, the course has a USGA pace of play below four hours though so it's great for a quick round in a great environment.

Much longer course than you would expect at this price point. A few challenging approaches surprised us and they definitely kept the pace up. Some of the tee boxes can also be a bit tricky when they seem to point you to the left or the right of the green, pay attention to the hole layout before you tee off. Solid course overall at a good price.

Great wide fairways and relatively easy approaches (few bunkers). Service was a little slow but play was well-paced. Good course for a public round.
