  Played the Port Course at Harborside and shot a 101. The worst round of the year for me. Just couldn't get anything to work; even the 90-100 yard shots were poor.   Taking a group of lessons, and lengthening my swing. This is, in turn, causing me to shoot higher than normal scores, but I think in the long run it'll be worth it. Time will tell.

  Searching for the term "golf marketing" in Google today provided an interesting, and painful result (at least, for the company in question). I wonder if they even know why their traffic is (probably) in the toilet. "http://danperry.com/wordpress/ouch/":http://danperry.com/wordpress/ouch/ The sad part is that they may not be aware this is happening, or they may have done this on purpose (which is even worse, IMO). The lesson: Look at your listing every once in awhile in the major search engines. You just never know.

  Very cool! The only poker I’ve played is on a video game, as I’m too chicken to part with my own cash. But for a charity event, I’d give it a go… then when I’d lose, it’d be for a good cause!
