It’s another case of Political Correctness rearing its head. I didn’t think anything of it, when I hear the word “lynch”, I think of the old west vigilante thing—no race connotations. Now, while I can see where it was a dumb comment, I also believe that it was blown WAAY out of proportion.

I just so glad Al Sharpton go another chance to chime in. Perhaps he should take his clue from how Tiger handled this incident, which was to accept Kelly’s apology and move on.

Honesty this comment was uncalled for! why do people make these comments anyways!! if the shoes was on the other foot and white people was lynch, they would have some sort of experience what it is like to be black. overall we all bleed the same color of blood,’ we are all the same so please people let the past be the past and live together as one. In addition only evil people in their hearts think that way. I believe there are good in all of us and we need to remember after we are gone from this life we live in, you have to answer for your actions. “As the famous quote can we all just get along”
What are your thoughts…? Just Drop it? Fire Tilghman? Worse than Imus? Convene a Senate Hearing to determine if we need a Senate Steering / Fact Finding Committee to determine if all sports announcers need to have a 7 second delay imposed on live broadcast? (And of course, have those Senators personally check out each PGA event – especially those held in Hawaii…)
