The goal was to give you guys a forum that was modern, fast and super easy to use. I think we've accomplished that but I realize there are some features from other forums that are missing here.

I will be working over the coming weeks and months to continually improve the site and add all the important stuff we need. This thread will act as our roadmap to keep you updated on progress and priorities. Feel free to reply below with anything you think would make this place better.

Top priorities (Level 1)

  • Private messaging
  • Emojis in composer - Today you can post emojis this way: How to add emojis to posts
  • New and improved Swap Shop
  • NSFW/Spoiler tags
  • Color styling of text

Level 2

  • HTML/WYSIWYG buttons in composer
  • User lists/Who's online
  • Polls in composer - Today you can post polls this way: How to start a poll
  • Reputation system
  • Badges/awards
  • Auto subscribe to thread you start
  • Signatures - On the fence about adding these vs. keeping threads clean

Level 3

Completed items

  • Image uploader
  • Rich media embedding
  • Social media sharing
  • Facebook sign-up/login
  • Twitter sign-up/login

I was going to comment on the lack of swap shop, but I see it's level 2. "Thumbs up emoji"

jamez I've got something in mind for it but I need a little more time. It's Level 1!

And check out the How to add emojis workaround. 🙂

looking good, no complaints here , looks like you have it all under control.

        Thanks Justin,

Thanks for updating my avatar - awesome site so far, Intuitive - user friendly!

We need a classified section unless I missed it.

You didn't miss it. I'm working on getting that added. Exploring some options. Stay tuned!

Hmm maybe a regional section? Could be helpful for folks looking to find someone to play a round with or looking for general information specific to an area.

I like that idea. I feel like people would like to browse where others are more than specifically searching for someone play with.

Discussion must have between 1 and 1 primary tags.....couldn't post a question and I don't know what this means

Thanks for the feedback. I think that message means that you need to add at least 1 tag to any topic you start. Click on the "Choose Tags" button next to the title when you are starting a post.

And based on the Scalia thread you'll need a way to block posters who write completely unacceptable things. Ignoring users should be an option. Either that or create a P&R forum or simply ban those discussions altogether. I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't want to read that shit at a golf forum.

Good ideas. The P&R tag is an easy solution in the short term. But I like your other ideas too.

Any way of staying logged in? In other forums I seem to stay logged in, but when I leave here and come back I need to log in again.

Matbe you should add a handicap tracker, since it seems the one at FGI is about to die

jamez That one is a little tricky unless I could find a branded service out there. Probably just keep it to social related things here. 🙂

Is there presently or are there plans for the ability to "Block" members? Perhaps is part of the planned PM package.

FauxAmish good question. You mean block from PMing or block so you can't see any of their posts?

I think the latter might make threads lose context.
