Hmm really, mine was easy to update. Did you go to your profile page and click on the circle with your initial in it?

Let me know what you tried so I can look into it.

Yeah, I clicked on the initial, got the select file screen, selected the image and nothing. I tried three different images.
1 was 800x897 224 kb
2 was 524x604 83kb
3 was 335x355 24 kb
all jpg

Does it have to have JPG suffix instead of jpg?

jamez I was able to change yours so it must be a permission thing. I'm looking into it.

jamez Can you try and post the image in this topic to see if it allows that? Just click on the picture button in the composer.

jamez Hmm I added on my end ok. I'll keep looking into it but at least it's in your profile now.

Obviously I am forum challenged. Attempted to add pic, it found where to upload from, I open and
as with most new technology, it just giggled at me, nothing.

Will give it a run later.

jamez So I am not alone, the question is does this put or you in good company? : )

Think I will op for larger image, can't find original of the above.

jamez Tried different browser and life is good, as it should be....Tks

Martee Glad you got it working. Do you mind telling me which browser it didn't work on and which it did so I can look into the issue for others?

I cannot load a photo in my profile avatar or in a post. Looks like a permission thingy.....I'm on Windows 10, browsing on MS Edge

sdandrea1 I've read that Windows can cause some issues with the avatars. Try another browser Chrome or Firefox or else post the image here and I will update your profile for you.

I'm looking into a fix for Windows but that will get your pic working in the meantime.

jrock Internet 11 was a bust, Chrome and Firefox worked good.

Thanks guys, looks like an Internet Explorer issue. I'll look into it. Good to know there is a workaround in the meantime.
