Having been in San Francisco for over 10 years, it is a pleasure to see how this course has been brought back from the dead. I would not have stepped foot ont his course 5 years ago. But after the work they have done, the Amex Tourney won by Tiger in 2005, it seems they are keeping it in top quality shape for the '08 President's Cup. Just perfect. Enjoyed a nice round out there yesterday in 4:15. Green are nice although not too fast, they roll true, fairways were perfect and the wether in SF has been doing it's part. Get out here to see it. Only $46 for Residents to walk. A perfect walk among stunning trees surrounded by Lake Merced.

Amex championship in '05 - nice course, great location by lake & across the way from the Olympic club. Costly for non-resident, but worth playing.
