This course says it's the "Best purely public course in Mississippi", and I think that may well be pretty close to the truth. It's certainly a course that will test your course management, as there's plenty of water along with spots where you have to hit a smart, accurate shot or take a penalty. The greens, although not like some of the resort courses, are well taken care of, but incredibly undulating. If your putting speed is not the greatest, there's a really strong chance of three putting. Another interesting part is the "Aqua Range", with floating range balls into a lake. An interesting start to the game...
